Size Guide

The 1753 shirt is a regular fit.

The most reliable way to find your size is to measure a shirt you already own and wear comfortably, then match it to the chart below.

How to find your size

  1. Take a shirt you already own that fits you well.
  2. Lay it flat on a table or bed. Do it up, smooth out any creases and make sure the sleeves are lying flat.
  3. Measure straight across the front, from one underarm seam to the other. Keep the tape flat and level — don't measure around the shirt.
  4. Find that measurement in the chart below. That's your size.

If you land between two sizes, take the larger one. The shirt is cut with a bit of room through the body and is designed to be worn untucked.

Inches

Size Underarm to underarm Back length Sleeve length
S 22″ 25″ 25.5″
M 23″ 26″ 26″
L 24″ 26.5″ 26.5″
XL 25″ 27.5″ 27″

Centimetres

Size Underarm to underarm Back length Sleeve length
S 56 cm 63.5 cm 65 cm
M 58.5 cm 66 cm 66 cm
L 61 cm 67.5 cm 67.5 cm
XL 63.5 cm 70 cm 68.5 cm

The other two measurements

Underarm to underarm is the one that matters most. If you want to check length as well, measure your own shirt the same way:

Back length — from the top of the back neckline straight down to the bottom hem.

Sleeve length — from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff.

All measurements are taken with the garment laid flat and are approximate. Minor variation between garments is normal.
